Our industry is constantly evolving, and we believe it’s vital that we continue to monitor our standards for relevance and to continue on the path of best practice. This means that our standards are reviewed every seven years or earlier. Below you can view our current standards as well as previous standard versions where we have licensees with products and services, certified.
Our licensees undergo re-certification every three years and when they do, are assessed against the most current standard.
There are many green building programs that recognise GECA’s standards. Products and services under these standards can contribute to credits under programs, such as: Green Star, the IS Rating Scheme, NABERS Indoor Environment (Office Buildings) and the WELL Building Standard.
