Copying Machines, Printers, Fax Machines & Multifunctional Device (CMPFMMDv1.0-2019)

Standards
  • Status:
    Current
  • Issue Date:
    September 20, 2019

This GECA standard is a modified text adoption of Environmental Choice New Zealand’s (ECNZ) Copying Machines, Printers, Fax Machines, Multifunctional Machines (1.0: 2017) standard. ECNZ’s standard is the combination and adoption of a number of Japan’s  Eco Mark standards.

This standard has been reproduced with permission from Eco Mark and ECNZ and seeks to set the benchmark in Australia for copying machines, printers, fax machines, multifunctional devices.

Modifications to the source document have been made to maintain relevancy to the Australian office environment. The principal difference between the source document and the modified adopted GECA standard is the replacement of New Zealand specific terminology with terminology relevant to Australia. A list of changes to the source document along with the justification can be seen, upon request to GECA. After an 18 month transition period, this standard will be reviewed and undergo a consultation with relevant stakeholders before assuming the status similar to that of all other GECA standards.

What our clients say about us

Being an environmentally aware business, we needed a way to ensure, adhere and implement sustainably preferable strategies into our business plan. The team at GECA is co-operative and their guidance ensured that we not only complied with green standards, but exceeded them. The process is credible and well-received in the market place and ensures that we are set apart from the not-so-genuine ‘greenwashing’ companies.
