Gyprock Perforated Plasterboard has been designed for use on ceilings and walls where increased levels of sound attenuation is required.
As the name implies, the acoustic properties of the board are achieved by perforations to approximately 8% of the board surface that absorb sound to reduce echoes and reverberation. The long edges of the panels are recessed for flush jointing to a smooth, continuous surface.
Gyprock Perforated Plasterboard is manufactured in Australia to Australian Standard AS2588.Is is made up of a gypsum plaster core that is wrapped in heavy-duty linerboard paper with bonded edges. The heavy-duty face paper is a buff colour.
