Local and international circular economy leaders will take to the stage at this year’s inaugural Circularity conference. This new circular economy event, brought to you by Planet Ark’s Australian Circular Economy (ACE) Hub, will delve into the latest research and real-world case studies to drive actionable change towards a more circular future in the Asia Pacific. GECA is proud to be a supporting partner of this pivotal conference.
“Australia has both an opportunity and responsibility to be a catalyst for the circular economy transition in the Asia Pacific region,” said Paul Klymenko, Planet Ark co-CEO.
The conference, which will take place from 24-25 November at the Hilton Sydney, features an impressive line-up of over 100 business experts, consultants and leaders in circular economy practice, covering a broad range of topics.
GECA’s Strategic Communications Manager, Kendall Benton-Collins, will be speaking on the panel – Providing Confidence in Circular Procurement at 1:40 pm on the second day. Her presentation will focus on four critical internationally recognised tools that can strengthen the rigour of circular procurement strategies.
Other session topics include:
• Fast-tracking the Australian policy landscape
• Investing and financing the circular economy
• Designing for circularity
• Exploring circular business models
• De-carbonising and the circular economy
• Providing confidence in circular procurement
• Opportunities for entrepreneurs to deliver product as a service
• and more!
Beyond laying the foundations of circular principles and updates on the current circular landscape, the strength and vision behind the design of Circularity’s exclusive content program is to equip delegates for actionable change and transition towards tangible circular practices.
Over the two days, delegates can expect to take away high-level thought leadership and actionable tools to implement circular economy practices in their businesses. It will also be a unique opportunity to build long-term business partnerships and connections with some of Australia’s key decision-makers.
