We’re excited to announce that we have developed a new online portal to streamline and improve the GECA ecolabel certification process!
The GECA Portal will be where assessors, current licensees and new applicants will complete each step of the certification journey. Licensees and applicants will now be able to access and save all of their documentation under one roof. Everything from quote requests, conformance documents, payment history and reports to GECA certificates and product details will be located within the portal.
In addition, when recertification time comes around, licensees will be able to see what documents have been previously submitted via the GECA Portal and access previous comments from their assessor. The portal also includes a library featuring relevant GECA documentation, a Frequently Asked Questions section, and feedback functionality.
The portal will also provide timely reminders for specific milestones along the certification pathway to give our licensees and applicants peace of mind.
The first standard added to the portal is our Furniture Fittings, Foam & Mattresses – Level A (FFFMv3.1i-2017). All our existing standards will soon follow. We will be reaching out directly to all our licensees via email to provide details on accessing the GECA Portal, including step by step videos.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, the new portal will allow us to provide our licensees with an even higher level of customer service.
