Focusing on the ‘what, why and how’ of implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in Australia, this Conference aims to build awareness and identify key priorities for Australia’s sustainable growth. GECA’s Kate Harris will be the convenor for Goal 12 and will moderate the panel session at the event, which will also include the following speakers:

Alice Cahill, NSW Office of Environment & Heritage

    Helen Dornom, Dairy Australia

    Lachlan Feggans, Brambles

    Selena Griffith, University of NSW

Gordon Renouf, Good on You (and Chair of GECA)

    Tony Cudmore, BHP Billiton

If you’re coming along to the SDGA Conference, you can also hear from GECA at a special side event, ‘Supply Chain Management to Enable the SDGs’, taking place at 8:30am on 30 November. Hear more about the upcoming ISO20400 Sustainable Procurement standard in an interactive session, presented by GECA’s Shaila Divakarla, Jean-Louis Haie of Planet Procurement, and Tanya Harris from Fred Hollows Foundation.

And, of course, don’t miss out on hearing from the winners of this year’s Banksia Awards, presented in conjunction with the conference! More information available here.
