Direct Ergonomics boasts an impressive list of GECA certified products and product ranges. The company has almost 30 GECA licensed products in their catalogue, ranging from lounges to workstations to the humble task chair. All are environmentally-preferable options certified under GECA’s Furniture and Fittings standard.
The Smithfield-based company is entirely Australian owned and operated and has been in business since 1986. Its furniture is designed for office and commercial fitouts, featuring striking colours and modern designs.
Last year, Direct Ergonomics was selected along with Zenith Interiors to be the furniture suppliers for the University of Wollongong’s Sustainable Buildings Research Centre. According to Donna McMullen, Director of Direct Ergonomics, the team were very proud of the fitout. “We believe the furniture is functional and stylish while being within a conservative price bracket,” she said. “The feedback from the users has been very positive.”
