  • New products: Innova achieves certification for its Rim Fabrics Honeycomb range

    7 Nov 2013 3:22 am

This week Innova achieved certification for its Rim Fabrics Honeycomb range; adding it to its existing GECA licence along with the Evolve, Fusion and Harmony ranges. Aptly named Honeycomb TA 412, the product is inspired by nature and features intricate gossamer hive forms reminiscent of timeless bee creations. Honeycomb’s distinctive hexagonal effect and structure brings nature indoors, while its gossamer, luxurious sheen provides designers with visual interest and textural dimension for creative décor. The range consists of 25 vibrant and contemporary colours based on design industry feedback of leading colour trends.

Honeycomb can be purpose-designed for all forms of workstations, office screens, acoustic panels and pinboards. It also passes the Australian Flame Retardancy standard AS 1530 Part 3, applicable to interior commercial applications.

Since its foundation in 2000, Rim Fabrics (a division of Innova International) has progressively introduced a collection of highly differentiated, non-woven, recyclable contract fabrics to the Australasian market. The company has a reputation for performance-proven textiles that satisfy the needs of architects and specifiers for applications such as screens, panels, workstations, notice boards and upholstery applications. Four of Rim’s products are now GECA certified, making them an environmentally preferable choice, too.

In 2010, Rim Fabrics was acquired by engineered textiles group Innova International. The Rim commitment to high level customer service, superior quality and value carries on under the new ownership.
