Italian furniture designers Moroso have recently gained GECA certification for a range of their designs. In Australia, Moroso is sold exclusively through Hub Furniture, alongside fellow GECA licensees Lowe Furniture. Both are certified under GECA’s Furniture, Fittings & Foam standard, representing a better and more ethical choice for the environment and human health.
Italian company Moroso has been working with some of the world’s most talented designers to produce luxury seating and sofa products since 1952. Since then, it has evolved to include additional product types and is now headed up by the second generation of the Moroso family.
The company has always been open to new ideas, from its origins in post-war Italy where there was a culture of ‘doing things and doing them well’, Moroso has been farsighted, daring and certain of the advantage of combining craftsmanship and tailoring with industrial processing techniques to create unique products and by drawing on the worlds of industrial design, contemporary art and fashion.
