Good Environmental Choice is pleased to welcome Camatic, our newest furniture licensee. Camatic specialises in commercial and venue seating, taking products from the design concept and right through to the finished product in a single location. The company has been around for over 50 years, putting seats into offices, theatres and stadiums.
Camatic’s seating has been installed in high-profile projects including Rod Laver Arena (Melbourne), Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Sydney Opera House, Her Majesty’s Theatre (Melbourne), Melbourne Convention Centre, Deakin University, Australian Catholic University, and the offices of Australia Post, as well as a range of international projects.
Camatic has four of its seating products certified with GECA under the Furniture, Fittings and Foam standard:
- Alpha is a low cost stadium seat with the strength and durability required for the toughest of crowds. - Clarity is an ergonomically designed compact seating innovation which offers unsurpassed comfort. This is the perfect choice for discerning venues in need of a stylish look. It has proven to be a popular choice for performing arts auditoriums, educational lecture theatres, arenas and places of worship. All Camatic Seating products are designed in consultation with leading ergonomists and provide hours of seating comfort.
- Quantum seating maximizes capacity, delivers superior comfort and ensures long-term durability. Quantum has been designed in consultation with leading ergonomists and uses a patented beam mount system. Seats are evenly spaced in every row, and can be easily added to, removed or re-spaced as events require.
- Forte has ergonomic contouring and cushioning support, and the Forte Compact is able to fold down to 150mm (6”) envelope for retractable platforms. Never before has a chair with this level of contouring and support been able to achieve such a feat. Forte also provides operators with additional seating locations through its unique beam mounting system, where seat modules mount independent of the bracket attachment to sub-structure.
