We invite you to join GECA at Sydney Build – Australia’s largest construction, architecture and infrastructure expo. Now in its seventh year, Sydney Build has become the best-attended construction event in Australia.

Sydney Build is the only event in Australia to offer 300+ accredited presentations, 500+ exhibitors and incredible networking opportunities for all of Australia’s construction, architecture, engineering and infrastructure industries.

This year, climate resilience and sustainability will be key themes at Sydney Build. The Climate Resilience & Safety stage is free for all to attend and will address topics such as fire, flooding, earthquake and natural disasters safety, building resilience to extreme weather conditions, quality assurance and defects.

“The effects of climate change have never been more pronounced, with flash floods and fires being just a small part of the long-term issues facing Australia and the world,” said James McKenzie, Director for Sydney Build Expo.

“There is a huge push within the real estate industry to adapt and focus on more sustainable ways of building and also to mitigate the increasing risk of adverse events,” he continued.

The Sustainability stage will address topics such as the circular economy, net zero, embodied carbon management, regenerative design, renewable energy, building lifecycles and ESG.

You will also have the chance to visit our Materials in Mind pod at Stand M7!  Discover a range of beautiful and functional GECA certified products, all inside a uniquely repurposed 20ft (6×2.2m) used shipping container.

Visitors can interact with the pod via the built-in educational elements, which outline the critical environmental, health and social issues of different building materials.

We’re looking forward to showcasing our amazing licensees to over ten thousand contractors, architects, specifiers, developers, government, designers, councils, associations, house builders, engineers, suppliers and construction professionals.
