As part of Designex 25 in Melbourne, on 31 May GECA will hold an information session on environmentally preferable products and the role of third party certification. This session will explain the benefits of using environmentally preferable products and in particular how to guarantee a product’s claim through independent third party certification. It will provide information on the certification process, what it means and how it can be achieved as well as the benefits of using certified products – both financially and environmentally.
It will provide a variety of perspectives from the running of the scheme, to those seeking certification as well as those who specify products.
