Entries close soon for INDE.Awards, the Indo-Pacific’s first and only regional design awards program.
GECA is thrilled to be a strategic partner for the INDE.Awards this year! The INDE.Awards calls on architects and designers in the Indo-Pacific region to share their legacy with an era-defining accolade to celebrate an exceptional decade in design.
Now in its fourth year, the INDE.Awards celebrates the diversity and dynamism of the Indo-Pacific, bringing together creatives from all fields and corners of the region to shine a spotlight on the most progressive buildings, spaces, objects and people. In 2019, INDE.Awards welcomed over 430 entries from more than 14 countries across the region.
“Last year we saw an incredibly high calibre of entrants, shortlisters and winners which revealed the progressive nature and influential power of our region’s designs,” says Indesign Media Asia Pacific CEO, Raj Nandan.
In 2020, the INDE.Awards makes its much-anticipated return with its 14 core, industry-leading categories. These honour the past 12 months of progressive architecture and design across typologies including buildings, spaces, objects, and also people.
This year, INDE.Awards presents two new era-defining accolades to honour the lasting impact of a single, influential piece of architecture or design in the Indo-Pacific. Open to entrants across the region, Best of the Decade | The Living Space and Best of the Decade | The Work Space will recognise the exceptional execution of and lasting impact made by a single, influential piece of architecture or design. Best of the Decade is Jury-decided and will also be open to a People’s Choice Award.
Entries close on 21 February 2020 (Update: Entries have been extended to midnight 6 March). Winners will be announced at a special INDE.Awards Gala evening in Sydney on 14 August 2020.
The INDE.Awards is organised and presented by regional design and architecture publisher Indesign Media Asia Pacific.
