  • In the Spotlight: Sheldon Interiors completes Faber-Castell offices

    Office fit-out specialist and GECA licensee Sheldon Commercial Interiors recently completed an exciting fit-out for Faber-Castell in Sydney.

    Sheldon Commercial Interiors is a company best known for providing effective turnkey solutions for its clients, encompassing design, project and construction management with the procurement of workstations and furniture. The ergonomic and environmental qualities of the specified CoDesign workstations were a good choice for Faber-Castell, who has a strong focus on sustainability within its own organisation. Faber-Castell was founded in 1761 in Germany and is the world’s largest pencil manufacturer.

    “When Sheldon Commercial Interiors was appointed to design the new offices for world renowned company Faber-Castell it was excited by the opportunity to incorporate the bright palette of colours in a bold new interior,” says its sales director, David Monardo.

    “The new fit-out also presented a great opportunity for designer Tara Gunasekera to incorporate environmentally sustainable design initiatives including the specification of a great range of GECA certified products including the innovative Logic system.

    “Using environmentally preferable GECA certified products is something we try to achieve as often as possible. We recognise the importance of introducing better products for the environment in the commercial sphere and this is integral to our design philosophy.”
