There’s still time to get your entry in to the Home Design Magazine Australian Living Green Interior Awards for 2014. GECA is a proud supporting partner of the awards, which recognise interior design projects that have considered the social and environmental impacts of the products chosen.
Both GECA and Australian Living share a vision of making every building as green and sustainable as possible, and celebrating projects that choose environmentally-preferable products.
If you’re wondering what counts as an ‘interior product’, it’s basically everything inside – from taps and lounges to the paint on the walls and the joinery in timber products. Judges will be looking at where and how the products were made, whether they have third-party certification (such as GECA certified products) and ethical standards.
Categories for entries include residential spaces, corporate office culture, the hospitality industry, retail space, educational institutions and aged care facilities. You can enter into as many different categories as you like.
The awards are open to anyone who has worked on a project featuring green interior products, including interior designers, stylists, consultants, building designers, and homeowners. Find out more about how to enter here.
