GECA’s own Standards and Technical Manager, Ingrid Cornander, will present at this year’s designEX event at Sydney Exhibition Centre, Glebe Island. The event has been running for the past 26 years and is an industry platform for sharing innovative and inspiring design ideas in the Australian architectural and interior design space.
There are increasing expectations for suppliers to meet strict environmental and social standards, and gaining third party certification can help to demonstrate the credentials of a product. Ingrid’s talk will focus on “How to gain an ecolabel and why it makes sense”. The session will explain the benefits of getting certification for a product, covering the steps involved and the range of benefits an ecolabel can afford product manufacturers and suppliers.
Architects, interior, graphic, industrial and textile designers, illustrators, art directors, commercial artists, manufacturers and others in creative industries are all welcome to attend designEX and to attend Ingrid’s presentation.
Ingrid will present at the Tile & Stone Theatre on May 28 at 2pm. For more information and to register for designEX, click here.
