Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) was pleased to exhibit at Green Cities 2013 last week in Sydney. Now in its seventh year, Green Cities is an annual conference and exhibition co-hosted by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and Property Council of Australia.
GECA used the opportunity to meet with new and old customers as well as to explain how GECA certified products are rewarded throughout various credits in all of the GBCA’s Green Star Technical Manuals, and in particular within the Material and Fitout Calculators.
Romilly Madew, Chief Executive Officer of the Green Building Council of Australia said: “GECA plays an important role in greening buildings throughout Australia, and providing a robust and independent certification service. We value our long-term relationship with GECA.”
“GECA has a long and close relationship with the Green Building Council of Australia,” said GECA CEO Rupert Posner. “Helping companies supply products and materials for Green Star buildings as well as making it easier for architects and specifiers to source environmentally preferable products will continue to be a key focus for us.”
