The search is on for Victorians who are leading the way to a sustainable future, with entries now open for the Premier’s Sustainability Awards.
Be inspired by sustainability leaders taking action to improve their community and environment across the State from businesses, communities, government, education and public institutions.
The Awards aim to build hope and optimism as Victorians work towards the SDGs, inspiring others to take action, building resilience and learning from each other along the way.
This year’s awards are being delivered through an exciting partnership between Sustainability Victoria on behalf of the Victorian government, Banksia Foundation and Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria.
The awards shine a spotlight on the innovators and changemakers in six categories:
• Future Energy
• Thriving Environment
• Sustainable Places and Destinations
• Circular Economy Innovation
• Healthy and fair society
• Waste and litter reduction
Two awards within each of the six categories will be presented: the Community Champion Award – for individuals and small organisations and the Industry Leader Award – for medium and large organisations.
