The Green Globe Awards are calling for nominations. This year is the 20th anniversary of the Awards, which celebrate the people and projects creating a sustainable future for NSW and inspire others to action.
There are twelve award categories showcasing a range of businesses, community groups and individuals who are helping us to adapt, thrive and move toward a more sustainable future. There are also two best of the best awards selected by the judging panel. If you are a sustainability leader or environmental champion, nominate your work and tell your story via the website.
The Green Globe Awards invite a diverse range of entries that reflect the full spectrum of sustainability work in all sectors – young people under 30 can nominate for the Young Sustainability Champion Award; not-for-profit groups can apply in the Community Leadership category, and dynamic green building projects can nominate for the Built Environment Award.
Businesses both large and small are invited to nominate for the Business Leadership Award. There are also awards for Innovation, Climate Change, Resource Efficiency and Natural Environment.
As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations, there are two new categories – the Lifetime Achievement Awards for individuals and for organisations. These awards are an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of those who have led the way over ten years or more.
