    23 Sep 2013 10:19 am

Australian Workstation Manufacturers (AWM) lately provided its GECA certified Monorail workstation over two floors of The White Agency’s primely located Sydney office at 1 Kent Street.

The Monorail workstation achieved GECA certification in 2012 and is nearly 100 per cent recyclable. It is manufactured in AWM’s factory in Alexandria, which is ISO14001 certified meaning the factory meets environmental management systems standards.

“The decision to be GECA certified was a natural choice for us,” explains AWM Director Anthony Scotts. “We have always been committed to improving our environmental performance with our mission essentially being to produce high quality products with minimal environmental impact.”

According to Marketing Assistant Olivia Harris, “Environmental pride is a term used frequently at AWM. To ensure sustainable practices are met the directors are careful to implement environmental choices, which flow down to employees making sustainability a commitment from every single person in the company.”

“At AWM we are very fortunate to have this commitment from every team member – not only with the products we deliver everyday but also with all our factory requirements, showrooms and design team.”

Reflecting The White Agency’s distinctive character, this fitout combines existing brickwork with a range of modern furniture to create an overall eclectic atmosphere. The interior design of the project was conducted by Siren Design who is a well-established commercial interior design firm that is known for realising projects with flair.
