GECA is proud to be a Supporting Partner of the Waste Strategy Virtual Summit which will be taking place on 21 – 22 July.

If the current pandemic crisis has taught us anything, it’s that our world is fragile. What we do today sets the path for our future.

The 3rd annual Waste Strategy Summit will now take place virtually, with over 15 expert speakers examining what collaboration, investment and technology is necessary to ensure an efficient, sustainable future for public and private sector waste management.

Conveniently formatted into two accessible half days, featuring Q&A’s, panel discussions and case study presentations, you can watch and interact live with their curated line up of experts. You can also access the content on demand for the next 12 months if you miss anything on the day or if you want to go back and review.

Focusing on the innovations, technology and systems that are making a difference in advancing investment, adoption and implementation of smart waste strategies, Waste Strategy Summit 2020 brings together the public and private sector for collaborative, interactive and solutions-driven knowledge sharing.

Our CEO, Michelle Thomas, will be participating on the panel – Discussing the circular economy in the real world and the impact it is having on waste reduction and recycling.

On the panel, Michelle will be joined by Steve Morriss, Head of Circular Economy Development at Planet Ark, Sarah King, Senior Research Consultant – Circular Economy at CSIRO, and Marc Lichtenstein, Joint Chief Executive Officer at Close the Loop.
