What a wonderful year it has been for not only GECA but the landscape of responsible consumption.
With leadership from GBCA and the World Green Building Council on embodied carbon, Australia leading with modern slavery reporting and a push to ban the export of waste from our shores, it is a perfect storm for purpose led consumption and GECA to support with solutions to drive positive change forward.
With a busy 2020 forecasted, it is a good time to take a well-deserved rest and come back rejuvenated prepared for a unique time in history.
As we battle a time of fires, drought and the greater unknowns, let us also take time to reflect and be thankful for what we have and the connections and community we have within our industry who are committed to the change against the challenges we face.
We also have many solutions driving success forward and we must not be overwhelmed by the opportunity that presents itself.
Thank you to you all for your ongoing support of GECA throughout the year- and a big thanks too to the GECA team, who I know are personally and professionally passionate about our work and mission.
