Grass-Cel, Gravel-Cel, Pebble-Cel

Grass-Cel is the original Australian made porous turf paving block, made up of precisely arranged hexagonal cells that allow the blocks to be clipped together using tabs and slots to create a mat of any size.
Each hexagonal cell has a round opening at the base to allow for drainage, permitting air, water and nutrients to move from the surface to the sub-soil. The cells can be filled with top soil to create high traffic turfed areas or can be filled with gravel and used as a porous pebble retention system, depending on your preference and environment.
Grass-Cel is specifically engineered for strength and stability with a minimum weight bearing capability of 260 tonnes per square metre (Tested on empty cells) making it a versatile product that can be used for numerous applications ranging from high traffic access ways and large vehicle parking areas to rooftop gardens.
Built from the ground up, Grass-Cel is a family run business celebrating over 40 years in the industry. We are wholly Australian owned and operated and take great pride in manufacturing here in Australia.

What our clients say about us

Being an environmentally aware business, we needed a way to ensure, adhere and implement sustainably preferable strategies into our business plan. The team at GECA is co-operative and their guidance ensured that we not only complied with green standards, but exceeded them. The process is credible and well-received in the market place and ensures that we are set apart from the not-so-genuine ‘greenwashing’ companies.

Fitting out such a large project with sustainably preferable furniture is rewarding. That a well-renowned and international company would choose to use GECA certified Office Link Group furniture is exciting and without doubt, a step in the right direction for improving sustainability in the workplace. The whole work zone looks great — the architect has done a wonderful job of creating the space. With the addition of the sustainably preferable products that are proven to improve the health and wellbeing of those in the workspace, it is now a really nice place to work.
