HVAC / Air-Conditioning / ACMV / Refrigeration systems is prone to microbial proliferation and biofilm formation due to its dark and moist environment. Presence of these contaminants will lead to numerous problems including poor Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) which will affect human health and productivity, systems inefficiency, high energy & electricity consumption, rapid equipment wear & tear, asset damage, unpleasant odour and thermal discomfort.
It is specifically developed for HVAC / Air-Conditioning / ACMV / Refrigeration systems deep decontamination (cleaning). It is formulated with food grade, non-GMO multi-enzyme nanoparticles. BMED is 7.8nm and able to easily penetrate deep into nooks, tiny cracks and crevices of the HVAC/Air-Conditioning Systems or any porous substrates to digest biofilms (bacteria, fungi, mould and algae), eliminate malodour and easily flush out contaminants. BMED also complies with the Environmental Discharge.
It is readily biodegradable (89% within 28 days) and works at neutral pH (6.0 – 8.0). Most importantly, it does not cause fading to paints, non-corrosive / destructive to any substrates including aluminium, copper, rubber, plastics, marbles, wood and metals. This will help to prevent asset damage and prolong the equipment life. Guarantee to clear biofilms from a 12 inch thick cooling coils. This product is applicable for all types of HVAC units and complements the Green Certified buildings. It is also suitable to be used in food preparation / storage area as it is Halal certified by ICCV Australia and Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) and can be KOSHER certified (upon request).
