Update: This standard has now been superseded by Floor Coverings (GECA 25-2011 v2.0i).
GECA 25-2011 v2 – Floor Coverings. Recognised by GBCA at Level A.
This standard is applicable to a range of floor coverings and carpet underlays that are laid on top of a foundation of concrete or wooded beams, and are not part of the building structure. Includes materials such as parquet, wooden planks, engineered wood products, bamboo, cork, rubber, vinyl and linoleum that are fixed to the floor and laid on top of an underlying foundation of concrete or wood beams. This standard does not include floor coverings that are applied in a liquid state.
The GECA 25-2011 v2 Floor Coverings Standard has superseded GECA 25-2005 and draft 25-2010 v2 standard.
