in Darling Harbour, Sydney Build offers 450+ accredited presentations, 500+ exhibitors, and incredible networking opportunities with 10,000+ construction professionals. Attendees will be eligible to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
GECA’s CEO, Michelle Thomas, will be presenting on 2 June from 1:20 pm – 2:20 pm on How industry is tackling office furniture waste through a government-supported project – Fit For Office at the Government & Infrastructure stage. The panel session will cover the latest information on furniture use and replacement impacts for building managers and tenants, how design and custody are co-dependent in a low carbon future, and how the F4O project is tying all this together.
The session will be chaired by Blake Lindley (Cirq Solutions), and GECA will be joined by Rose Read (Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence), Guy Walsh (Living Edge), Christian Keel (Edge Environment) and Russ Martin (Global Product Stewardship Council).
You will also have the chance to visit our Materials in Mind pod at Stand Z14! Discover a range of beautiful and functional GECA certified products, all inside a uniquely repurposed 20ft (6×2.2m) used shipping container. Visitors can interact with the pod via the built-in educational elements, which outline the critical environmental, health and social issues of different building materials.
We’re looking forward to showcasing our amazing licensees to over ten thousand contractors, architects, specifiers, developers, government, designers, councils, associations, house builders, engineers, suppliers and construction professionals.
